Michael Cimino is an American actor who is gearing up for the release of the third and final season of Hulu’s “Love, Victor,” where he plays the titular role of Victor Salazar.
While Cimino self identities as straight, his character deals with the trials and tribulations of coming to terms with one’s sexuality during high school, whom eventually comes out as gay. Acclaimed for his sincere, sweet, and safe portrayal, Cimino prides himself in having the spotlight to make many people, both young and old, feel seen and properly portrayed. Beyond “Love, Victor”, he can most recently be seen alongside Rebel Wilson on the Netflix film “Senior Year,” which premiered on the streamer May 13.
We met with Cimino to talk about growing up in Las Vegas, skipping the whole college thing, and his multifaceted career.
